Welcome to the Bachelor of Science in Public Health programme at Chrisland University. Programme Overview

Public Health is encompasses a wide range of efforts aimed at promoting and protecting the health of the population. This includes initiatives focused on disease prevention, health education, sanitation, access to healthcare services, and addressing social determinants of health. Key areas of focus often include immunization campaigns, maternal and child health programs, infectious disease control (such as malaria, HIV/AIDS, and tuberculosis), sanitation and hygiene promotion, nutrition interventions, and health education. Given the diverse and complex health challenges facing Nigeria, public health efforts also often involve collaboration with government agencies, non-profit organizations, international partners, and local communities to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to the country's specific needs and contexts.

Admission Requirements

For admission into the B.Sc. Public Health degree programme, candidates are required to possess: -

An acceptable pass in UTME (University Matriculation Examination). UME subjects are English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In addition, candidates must have O' Level credit passes in Physics, Chemistry, English Language, Mathematics and Biology.
