The Public Relations Unit of Chrisland University serves as the central communication hub of the University, dedicated to projecting and sustaining a positive institutional image in alignment with its vision of academic excellence and global relevance.
The Unit is responsible for managing the University’s internal and external communications, ensuring that all information disseminated reflects accuracy, professionalism, and the core values of the institution. It plays a strategic role in strengthening relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, parents, alumni, partners, and the wider community.
Through innovative communication strategies and media engagement, the Unit promotes the University’s achievements, programmes, research outputs, and events, thereby enhancing visibility and reputation at both national and international levels.
Core Responsibilities
- Media Relations
The Unit maintains strong relationships with local and international media organizations to ensure adequate and positive coverage of University activities, programmes, and milestones. - Corporate Communication
It oversees the preparation and dissemination of official communications, including press releases, newsletters, bulletins, and other institutional publications. - Brand Management
The Unit ensures consistency in the use of the University’s brand identity across all communication channels, safeguarding its image and reputation. - Event Publicity and Coverage
It coordinates publicity and media coverage for major University events such as matriculation ceremonies, convocations, public lectures, conferences, and special engagements. - Digital and Social Media Management
The Unit manages the University’s digital presence, including website content and social media platforms, ensuring timely updates and engagement with online audiences. - Crisis Communication
It provides strategic communication support during sensitive situations, ensuring accurate information dissemination and protecting the integrity of the University. - Stakeholder Engagement
The Unit fosters meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication initiatives and public engagement activities.
