Cybersecurity programme under the Department of Computer Sciences has evolved to become a unique academic division in the production of highly trained students in the field of Computer Science. In addition, the Department offers the program leading to the award of Bachelors of Cybersecurity degree.
The structure of the program meets the National Universities Commission (NUC)’s Benchmark for Minimum Academic Standards. It also complies with global requirements for a degree in Cybersecurity. Staff members of the Department are in the forefront in the recent areas of computer research work. This has enabled her to continue training quality students who will be able to occupy various positions in banks, industries, academia and private companies.
The B.Sc. in Cybersecurity at Chrisland University provides comprehensive coverage of key areas in cybersecurity, including network security, information security, risk assessment, and cybersecurity management. Through hands-on training and collaborative projects, students develop a deep understanding of how to design, implement, and manage secure systems. It offers the following objectives;

Direct Entry Requirements:
NCE in Computer Science with any of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Economics or Two ‘A’ Level Passes in Physics and Mathematics or Chemistry.
UTME Requirements:
Five ‘O’ Level SSCE/WASC Credit Passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry plus any other science subjects.
UTME Subjects:
The entry requirements shall be at least credit level passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and Physics to form the core subjects with credit in any other two relevant science subjects, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent. In addition, an acceptable pass in the University. Candidates with two A-level passes (graded A-E) at the Advanced Level in one or more relevant subjects (Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) may undertake the three – year degree programme into 200-level.
Waivers and Special Consideration/Other Qualifications:
Holders of OND/NCE (minimum upper credit) in relevant subjects may be considered for Direct Entry to 200 Level provided they satisfy the JME requirements
