Chrisland University VC Pays Courtesy Visit To Ogun State Deputy Governor

Professor Oyedunni Sola Arulogun, Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, has paid a courtesy visit to the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele. The meeting which took place at the Deputy Governors office, Oke- Mosan Abeokuta, focused on strengthening the collaboration between the university and the state government to enhance educational development in Ogun State.

 During the visit, Professor Arulogun highlighted Chrisland University's commitment to academic excellence and its role in contributing to the state's educational landscape. She emphasized the importance of partnerships between higher education institutions and government bodies in fostering innovation and addressing societal challenges.

Deputy Governor Salako-Oyedele commended Chrisland University for its dedication to providing quality education and acknowledged the institution's contributions to the state's development. This she said was evident in the remarkable contribution of Chrisland University during the COVID-19 pandemic with the numerous supplies of hand sanitizers by the University to the state government. She reiterated the Ogun State government's commitment to supporting educational initiatives that align with the state's vision for growth and development. She said with the large number of tertiary institutions established in the state, Ogun state is proud to be called the Capital of Education in Nigeria and this is a reflection of the enabling environment Ogun state has continued to provide which is safe for businesses to thrive. She however promised the continued support of the government to educational growth and development in the state.

This visit underscores the ongoing efforts by Chrisland University to engage with key stakeholders in advancing educational opportunities and fostering community development within Ogun State.

The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by other principal officers which include the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof Olatunde Farombi, the Registrar Mr. Samuel Omotoso, the Acting Bursar Mr. Moses Esah, the Acting University Librarian Dr. Goodluck Ifijeh, others include the University Counsellor Dr. Ngozi Eze, Protocol Officer Mr. Raphael Decampos, and the Public Relations Officer Mrs. Dolapo Akintoye.
