Chrisland University Students Shine at OOPL Youth Development Conference

The moral and academic conduct of the students of Chrisland University Abeokuta attracted high commendations from stakeholders at the just concluded 2025 Youth Development Conference of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library.

The students of the University who were cynosure of all eyes at the conference with the theme “Beyond degree: Preparing young people for the future of work” were commended for their resourcefulness at the event.

The Conference which attracted students from other universities and colleges as well as distinguished personalities in the education sector aimed at engaging Nigerian youths in shaping the national discourse.

The areas of concentration include educational and vocational developments, entrepreneurship, democracy and good governance. The active participation of students of Chrisland University in all the relevant areas of activities at the conference made many of the stakeholders conclude that they were outstanding all round. Confidence and presentation skills displayed by the student of Chrisland University in panel discussions made some of the stakeholders describe them as really impressive.

The University’s delegation which included students and staff was led by the institution’s Public Relations Officer Mrs. Dolapo Akintoye.

The Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Youth Development Forum Conference which is an annual event brings together youth leaders, students, policy makers, educators, innovators and school administrators from across the state.
