Admission Requirements

i)UTME Subjects

Candidates for admission into the four-year B.Sc. Psychology Degree programme must have offered the following courses in JAMB. English and any three (3) subjects from arts, social sciences, commercial or related science courses. E.g., Economics, Government, Literature in English, Christian Religious Studies/Islamic Religious Studies, Biology, Physics, Geography, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Health Science.

ii) UTME (O' Level)

Candidates for admission into the four-year B.Sc. Psychology Degree programme should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificates of Education, National Examination Council, or their equivalent with at least five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and a minimum of three other subjects obtained from Arts, Social Sciences, Commercial and related Science courses obtained at one sitting, or at least Six Credit passes obtained at two sittings. E.g., Government, Economics, Biology, Health science, Literature in English, History, CRS/IRS, Yoruba, Agricultural Science, ICT, Civic Education, Craft practice, Catering, Garment making, Physics, or Chemistry.

iii) Direct Entry

In addition to (i) above, Candidates for Direct Entry admission shall possess,

  • OND in a relevant discipline with at least upper credit grade in addition to the five credit passes (i) above.
  • ND in a relevant discipline with at least lower credit in addition to five credit passes in the serior Secondary School Certicates, General credit passes in (ii) above.
