The Bachelor of Nursing Science at Chrisland University is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with a deep understanding of nursing theory, practice, and research. Our curriculum covers a broad spectrum of subjects, including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pharmacology, health assessment, and nursing ethics and leadership.

Graduates of the Bachelor of Nursing Science programme are prepared for a variety of roles in the healthcare field, including:
Admission into the B.NSc. programme shall be by University Matriculation Examination (UME) and Direct Entry modes.
a. University Matriculation Examination(UME)
Candidates must possess credit passes at the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by West African Examination Council or National Examination Council or General Certificate Examination at the Ordinary Level or its equivalent in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at one (1) sitting and an acceptable pass mark as designated by the Senate of Chrisland University at the UME conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
b. Direct Eentry
Candidates seeking admission through this mode should in addition to the UME requirements possess either of the following:
i) Passes in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Zoology at the Higher School Certificates or Advance Level of General Certificate Examination or its equivalent. Such candidates shall also have the requisite 5 Level credits in the required subjects.
ii) Graduates in related subjects such as Biology, Zoology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry with at least Second Class Upper (2:1) degree shall be considered for direct entry admission into the programme.
iii) Holder of Registeredd Nurse (RN) certificate who possess requisite 5 O'level credits shall also be considered for direct entry admission.

A Programme of study shall be provided leading to the award of bachelor’s degree to be denoted by letters BNSc. Shall be awarded with honours or as a pass degree. Instruction shall be by courses, both within and outside the department and exposure to clinical experience including industrial training (IT) programme. Candidate will be required to register for a combination of courses as recommended by the Academic Board of the college and as approved by the senate of the University.
(a) All courses taught during a semester shall be examined at the end of that semester.
(b) The total number of units taken along with the grades obtained in each course shall be recorded for the purposes of calculating the Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA).
(c) Continuous assessment shall constitute 30% of the final grade in each course taught in the Department and it is compulsory.
(d) The total course unit for the session shall not exceed 60 units.
(e) Candidates must register for the courses failed in the preceding session and add new courses to a maximum of 48 units per session.
(f) Promotion/ Progression to upper level shall be based on the following;
(g) Candidates shall be required to register for not less than 20 units and not more than 25 units per semester. The minimum number of course unit for the award of degree shall be 200.
(h) Candidates shall be required to pass minimum of nine units of the University’s General Studies Program.
(i) All clinical postings are compulsory and clinical examinations passed at 50% at each level before the award of the degree. Clinical examinations shall be taken at the end of the semester of each level.
