The LL.B. programme is designed to afford its stdents the opportunity of establishing law courses with non-law courses throughout the duration of the programme. Chrisland University Law graduates can therefore claim some expertise in fields which are traditional outside the main stream of law.

Training in law is tailored at producing Law graduates who are ready to take up challenges as advisors, solictors and advocates to governments and their agencies, companies, business firms , associations, individual and families etc. The activities of government, companies and individuals are excepted to be carried within legal framework; thus, the outcome of law programmes meets needs of government agencies, international and corporate organizations, academics teaching and research institutions, government bodies, various industrial, commercial and mercantile associations and various social and domestic groups. The Law programme gives a sure footing for venting into other academic path of other fields of endeavours.

Law is dynamic and as such the curriculum is well rounded take care of Emerging clinical legal education which affords the students the opportunity of having a good foundation of the procedural aspect of the law.

Admission Requirements

The entry requirements should be through any of the under-listed options:
(a) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Mode:
In order to be eligible for admission into the five year full time LL.B programme through the U.T.M.E, a candidates must normally possess the senior secondary school/WAEC or NECO Certificate or the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) Ordinary Level or their equivalent with credit pass in five subjects, including English Language, Literature in English and any three Arts/social sciences obtained at not more than 2 sittings, together with an acceptable pass in the U.T.M.E and any other qualifying test.

(b) Direct Entry Mode:
In order to be eligible for admission into the four year full time LL.B programme, a candidate must normally possess the following qualifications:

(i) The General Certificate of Education (G.C.E) or its equivalent in five subjects, of which not less than two have been passed at the Advanced Level, provided that they include English Literature and two other arts/social sciences subjects. the candidates must have satisfied the ordinary level requirements as stated under the UTME requirements above.
(ii) A good first degree not below second class lower from chrisland University or any University recognized by the university. The candidate must have satisfied the ordinary level requirements as stated under the UTME requirements above.
