The fast growing trend in both research and applications of IT from the perspective of hardware and software demands that IT programs in Chrisland University have to be purpose and market driven, and research based with a well-defined focus on providing solutions to contemporary problems in both industry and academics.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

UTME

- Five Credit level passes at not more than TWO sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Agricultural Science, at Senior Secondary School Certificate.

- UTME subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. In addition, an acceptable pass in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is required for admission into 100 level.

DIRECT ENTRY

The following may be considered in addition to the minimum requirements in;

- Two A' Level passes with minimum of C grade in Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics;

- At least Upper Credit pass in National Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Polytechnic or its equivalent; and

- NCE with at least credit pass both in Computer Science and Mathematics; Computer Science and Physics or Mathematics and Physics.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME

The normal period for an honors degree shall be eight (8) semesters. It has duration of four years for students admitted with the Ordinary Level Certificate, and three years for those with Advance Level Certificates.

It has come to the attention of Chrisland University, that a suspected fraudster who goes by the name, Dr. Sylvester with the telephone numbers: 08147935431 and 07084178246, some other fraudulent individuals and impostors have been impersonating Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace BABALOLA, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University. Their intention is to extort money from unsuspecting individuals online, especially through the use of social media platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, text messages and telephone calls. Their fraudulent engagements are mostly on the sale of laptops, and employment contracts. Their acts are ignoble and vicious.
This is to inform the general public, particularly Nigerian tertiary institutions that, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University has nothing to do with any form of contracts or other claims being made online and offline by the criminals.
Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola is a distinguished Professor of Pharmacokinetics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, an award-winning professor, a laureate of the African Union, a lover of peace, and a devout Christian. She is the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, and her major focus is and has remained steering the wheel of excellence in the school to ensure world-class value system, intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research, community service, and outstanding training of a new generation of leaders. Hence, she cannot be involved in fraudulent claims as are being made by the fraudsters.

By this disclaimer, Chrisland University is making it explicitly clear that Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, its Vice-Chancellor, dissociates herself from all forms of fraudulent claims made with her name and office as the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University by any group of impostors online or offline.
The general public is hereby notified of this disclaimer and at the same time warned to be careful, as anyone who transacts with any of the impostors does so at his/her own risks.
