In 2020, Chrisland University commenced Part-Time programmes with courses from the College of Arts, Management and Sciences (CAMASS). The programmes include: Business Administration, Accounting and Mass Communication. Also, the center started its Certificate & Professional Diploma Programmes in Criminology & Security Studies on the 14th of January, 2022. The center holds lecture for its conversion programmes every weekend (Friday, 4pm-6pm, and Saturday, 9am-5pm) and the center has since its inception has students turning up for the programme. The pioneer and current Director of the Center is Dr. Adegboyega Afolabi, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting. He also doubles as the Acting Head of Departments, Accounting, and Banking & Finance. Dr. Adegboyega Afolabi emerged the 18th Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Abeokuta District Society, Ogun State in 2022. has various publications, and term papers to his credit, and has supervised more than 200 research works of students at Diploma, Bachelor of Science, and Postgraduate degrees levels at various times.
He had worked previously as a lecturer at Crescent University, Abeokuta between 2010 and 2020. Dr. Afolabi obtained his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Accounting from Babcock University, Ogun State, Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance at the Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of, the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), among others. Afolabi is an experienced examiner, reviewer, assessor, and invigilator for ICAN examinations and has contributed immensely to the examination process and development of the Institute. He has participated in three NUC Accreditation for undergraduate programmes in Accounting out of which he was the Acting Head of Department in two of the undergraduate accreditations, one MSc. (Accounting) and one ICAN accreditation programme and all were successful. He assumed duty at Chrisland University as an Adjunct lecturer in 2018 and thereafter offered an appointment as a Senior lecturer in 2020. In 2021, he was elected Vice-Chairman/Technical Secretary of Abeokuta university District Society of ICAN.
