ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
UTME Admission
Candidates for admission into the four-year degree program in the Department of Economics in Chrisland University should possess a Senior Secondary School Certificates of Education or National Examination Council in English language, Mathematics, Economics, one social science or Arts subject, and any other from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics in not more than two sittings, while UTME subjects must be a combination of English language, Economics, Mathematics and any of Government or History or any other social science/art subjects.
Direct Entry admission:
Candidates for Direct Entry admission must aside from fulfilling the o-level condition stated above, possess two A-level passes in Economics and any one of Accounting, Business Management, Government, Geography, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Agric-Science.
ND/NCE at Credit/Merit level in relevant disciplines may also be considered.
DURATION OF PROGRAMME
The normal period for an honors degree shall be eight (8) semesters. It has a duration of four years for students admitted with the Ordinary Level Certificate, and three years for those with Advance Level Certificates.
