We give special thanks and praises to God for taking us through 2017 to 2018. It is His doing and it is marvellous in our eyes. 

I give special thanks to every one of you (Board of trustees, Governing Council, staff, students, parents and friends) for your support

so far. God brought many changes to Chrisland University in 2017 including bring a new Acting Vice-chancellor, appointment of

substantive Vice-Chancellor, verification of new programmes by NUC, increase in staff and student population among others.

In the last few weeks, we visited several Media Houses and are directly partnering with them to promote Chrisland University.

Our name - Chrisland University is going all over the country and beyond and by God’s grace, we will reap the dividend.

I appreciate the efforts of all those that are contributing to this. For all these blessings and many more, we have reasons to thank God.

As we resume on 8th January 2018, we commit the year and all our activities into the hands of the Almighty God and pray that He will uphold us,

be present with all of us, lead us, guide us, grant us grace, strength, wisdom and all round blessings to run a successful academic session and year. 

Re-collect our motto “Intellectual Radiance” as this will be our watch-word. The light of God will shine through the University and all of us so we can radiate knowledge,

intelligence, excellence, character, leadership and innovation. We plan and are working hard to provide an enabling environment in our university that will make our vision a reality.

The following are being put in place:

1. Hostels are being cleaned, refurbished and furnished.

2. Orientation programs that will enhance student performance and character.

3. Workshops for teaching and non-teaching staff.

4. Better power generation

5. Provision of good source of drinking water

6. Better provision of food and daily needs

7. Quality assessment of staff and student performance. 

8. Recruitment of more teaching and non-teaching staff

9. Enhancement of religious and moral activities

10. Establishment of counseling unit

11. Initiation of vocational and entrepreneurial unit

12. Improvement in sporting, music and social activities

13. Provision of better internet facilities, portal, Wi-Fi, teaching aids etc. 

14. Better staff, student and parent relationship

15. Better security measures

16. Several other things

With these and many more, I therefore solicit your full cooperation.

While we will work hard to be friends we expect full adherence to the guidelines in our student and staff hand books. While we work with human face,

we will not compromise standards. Quality and good morals will be our watch words. Sanctions will be given when necessary.

We appeal to the students and parents to cooperate with the university management. Please run away from crime, drug abuse and other vices.

Obey our rules including attendance of lectures, religious and moral programmes, dress code, use of amenities in the universities and general conduct.

We promise to run an open door policy and will be ready to grant listening ears to all your complaints.

Once again, I thank and appreciate efforts by the proprietors, Board of Trustees, Governing Council, parents and guardians, students, management team

and staff, I urge you all to advertise this university everywhere. 

I humbly request that you pray for me and for us all for God’s grace and wisdom to take Chrisland University to the top of the ladder in university education nationally and internationally.
