Prof Odun-Ayo Comes On Board Chrisland University As Head, Department Of Computer Sciences
A foremost computer expert, Prof Isaac Odun-Ayo has come on board Chrisland University following his appointment as Head of the Department of Computer Sciences.
Prof Odun-Ayo brings a wealth of academic experience spanning over two decades from other reputable organizations including Covenant University, Ota where he has held several top positions among them, as member, Covenant University Administrative Board.
He has assumed full time appointment with Chrisland University according to a statement by the Registrar, Mr Samuel Omotoso.
Prof Odun-Ayo, an indigene of Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti State has previously worked at the National Defence College, Abuja as a Senior Faculty as at 2010 and the University of Lagos, Akoka as at 2016 before joining Covenant University.
He was born in 1962 and had graduated from the University of Benin for a Diploma in Data Processing, after which he also bagged a BS.c in Computer Science in 1993. He went further acquiring an MS.c degree in 1998 and a PhD in 2014 in the same course and same University.
Sometimes in 2008, the scholar had attended the
National Defence University, Beijing, China, for a Diploma in Defence and Strategic Studies.
Prof Odun-Ayo has had several scholarly publications and has supervised quite a lot of graduate and postgraduate students in his chosen area of expertise.
With his appointment, he is expected to inject fresh rejuvenation in the Computer Science Department and in general the College of Natural and Applied Sciences as well as Chrisland University.
