The last formal chapel service for 2018/2019

July 19, 2019 | Author | 0 Comments

Sunday 14 July 2019 marked the last formal chapel service for 2018/2019 session as well as the last sunday for the first set of graduating students in Chrisland University.

The University Chaplain Rev Juwon Onasanya gave a sermon titled 'The will to break forth' based on Genesis 32. Using the example of Jacob who said I will not let you go except you bless me, he said breaking forth requires being importunate, having vision, persistence, self confidence and courage.

The Vice-chancellor Prof Chinedum Babalola commended the pioneer outgoing students for taking the bold step to take up admission into a new institution and for staying through till the end. She promised them that they will be properly celebrated during the maiden convocation. She prayed and pronounced blessings on them and all present.

A group photograph with some of the students and staff was taken with a Chrisland-coloured cake.
