Fijabi Delivers Chrisland University's 7th Matriculation Lecture May 31, 2022

Notable motivational speaker, entrepreneur and life Coach, Engineer Abiodun Fijabi will on Tuesday May 31, 2022, deliver a lecture at Chrisland University, Abeokuta as part of the programme marking the 7th Matriculation Ceremony for freshmen of the Institution 

The Theme for the ceremony which holds at 12 noon at the University Auditorium, is “Engaging Wisdom for Intellectual Radiance”

Fijabi, the Chief Executive Officer, Lord Princely Associates will in particular be speaking on the Topic: “Unleashing the Leadership Spirit in You: the ‘What’, the ‘Why’ and the ‘How’”?

With a mission to prepare young adults for a lifetime of leadership development and service, the Guest Lecturer is expected to motivate and inspire the fresh students as they are officially matriculated into the University.

Fijabi who is also a top-rate Proprietor of the popular Abeokuta-based educational institution, Elyon College and Leadership Academy, holds a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering and Management of the University of Lagos, Akoka.

The University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS, is expected to chair the ceremony.

Babalola is a renowned Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacokinetics a Fellow of Nigerian Academy of science (FAS) and Fellow of African Academy of Sciences (FAAS) among several. In the last 5 years, and under her leadership, the university has grown from a student population of less than 60 to over 850.

Chrisland University which has witnessed unprecedented growth in its seven years of establishment has a vision to become a world-class university renowned for intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research , community service and the outstanding training of a new generation of leaders

From a modest beginning with two Colleges at inception during its inception in 2015/2016 academic session, the institution has grown into four Colleges including College of Basic Medical Sciences and the College of Law.

The University is blessed with a seasoned academic as the Pro-Chancellor, Distinguished professor Ayodeji Olukoju (FNAL), a two-time former Vice-Chancellor of Caleb University and a Distinguished professor of History, University of Lagos.

The University’s Founder and Chancellor, High Chief Dr (Mrs) Winifred Awosika OON, is an educationist and an entrepreneur of repute who pioneered the development of education across all tiers of education from Nursery/Primary about 45 years ago up till Secondary and University levels, of which Chrisland University is one of the beneficiaries.
