The
Chrisland University Community in Abeokuta was thrown into a boisterous
Jubilation on Friday, 18th January when the news arrived that all the nine
Programmes that were presented for accreditation in October/November 2018
returned fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
While
expressing her excitement about the development, the Vice Chancellor, Professor
Chinedum Peace Babalola gave all the credit to God and extended her profound
gratitude to the Chancellor, High Chief (Dr) Mrs. Winnifred Awosika, the Pro
Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Emeritus Professor Bayo Adekanye and other
Council members as well as members of Board of Trustees, Management, Staff and Students
for their immense contributions in all regards towards the success of the
exercise.
The
Vice-Chancellor added that it was a rear feat for a young University like
Chrisland University to undergo accreditation exercise for the first time and
excel there-in.
The courses accredited are; Accounting, Economics,
Political Science, Criminology and Security Studies, Computer Science,
Microbiology, Biochemistry, Business Administration and Psychology.
With this development, students applying to study at Chrisland
are hereby informed of the accreditation. Chrisland University is the
University of Choice with state of the art facilities. The University continues
to boast of affordable tuition, excellent student-teacher ratio in the classes
and ultra-modern hostel accommodation.

Admission to Chrisland University for 2018/2019 session is
still on going. Applicants should make use of this opportunity to apply to the
institution for their choice courses. Furthermore, Chrisland University
foundation programme provides the opportunity to candidates who did not sit for
UTME or score below the cut-off point for UTME to continue their full time
degree studies after the successful completion of a nine (9) months training
programme. The successful candidates of this foundation programme will be
admitted into 200L courses of their choice and will spend 3 years as regular
direct entry students.
