Chrisland University Organizes fun-filled Christmas Carol
It was all fun in Chrisland University Campus as the Institution celebrated the Christmas and end of the year festival with a Carol.
The event which was held on Monday 19th December, 2022, was filled with joy and fanfare and well attended by staff and students of the university and invited guests.
The celebration with the theme: Radiating His Light was officiated by the University Chaplain, Rev’D Oluwajuwonlo A. Onasanya.
In his brief sermon, he harped on so many reasons why everyone should thank God for His goodness and mercies.
Remarking about the event, the VC Prof. Babalola thanked the organisers of the event, describing it as a very unique one.
The event also saw many staff of the school received award for their excellent performance to the university.
Commenting on this, the VC said the award was initiated to encourage hard work and dedication among staff.
In another development, the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Peace Babalola was a special guest of honour at the U.S Consulate in Lagos.
The Professor of Pharmacy was invited by the embassy to share the holiday spirit at a Christmas dinner. The event took place on December 15th, 2022 at the American Guest Quarter, Number 16 Oyekan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos.
The invitation message reads in part: ‘To celebrate another successful year and your support, the Public Affairs Section of the U.S General Consulate in Lagos invites you to share the holiday spirit at our Christmas Dinner.’
The dinner offers networking opportunity with U.S Consulate staff and leaders in different fields. Enjoy American hospitality and conversation with guest.
