Chrisland University Nursing Students Excel in FYNI Nurses Week Video Challenge

Two Nursing students of Chrisland University, Abeokuta have excelled in a Video Challenge which held recently as part of activities marking the Nurses Week.

The students who are of the Nursing Department of the University are, Eniola Kolawole and Oluwatimileyin Amusa.

Both students participated in the Video Challenge organized by a body, Focusing on Youth Nurses Initiative (FYNI).

FYNI is an initiative designed to encourage nursing students and practicing nurses to have more confidence and hope in their profession while becoming the best they can be in terms of personal, academic and professional development.

As part of criteria for participating in the challenge, contestants who gathered together from across Nigeria were required, through the video, to factor how nurses could be a voice of change to the nursing practice in Nigeria.

Other contenders in the challenge included Ede Ifeanyichuchkwu from Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State who was adjudged second position and Adelagun Nifemi from Achievers University, Owo, Ondo state third position.

It has come to the attention of Chrisland University, that a suspected fraudster who goes by the name, Dr. Sylvester with the telephone numbers: 08147935431 and 07084178246, some other fraudulent individuals and impostors have been impersonating Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace BABALOLA, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University. Their intention is to extort money from unsuspecting individuals online, especially through the use of social media platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, text messages and telephone calls. Their fraudulent engagements are mostly on the sale of laptops, and employment contracts. Their acts are ignoble and vicious.
This is to inform the general public, particularly Nigerian tertiary institutions that, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University has nothing to do with any form of contracts or other claims being made online and offline by the criminals.
Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola is a distinguished Professor of Pharmacokinetics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, an award-winning professor, a laureate of the African Union, a lover of peace, and a devout Christian. She is the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, and her major focus is and has remained steering the wheel of excellence in the school to ensure world-class value system, intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research, community service, and outstanding training of a new generation of leaders. Hence, she cannot be involved in fraudulent claims as are being made by the fraudsters.

By this disclaimer, Chrisland University is making it explicitly clear that Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, its Vice-Chancellor, dissociates herself from all forms of fraudulent claims made with her name and office as the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University by any group of impostors online or offline.
The general public is hereby notified of this disclaimer and at the same time warned to be careful, as anyone who transacts with any of the impostors does so at his/her own risks.
