Christ is our Cornerstone, On Him
alone we build...
To the glory of God, Chrisland
University laid the foundation for her College of Law building on Tuesday 4th
September, 2019.
Present at the occasion were some of principal
officers including the Vice-chancellor Prof Mrs. Chinedum Babalola, the
Registrar Mr David Olowola, the Director of Academic Planning, Dr Ajibola
Meraiyebu and the Head of works, Engineer Abayomi Ewetade. Others were the
University Chaplain Rev Juwon Onasanya (who led the event), the Contractor M.A.
and Associates and team, the Project Manager Engineer Basil Okpalaji, other
contractors and support staff
After laying the foundation and
prayers were said, the Vice-chancellor gave a brief overview of the plans to
establish the College of Law over the past few years, highlighting the laudable
roles of the governing council and Board of Trustees. It is believed that
within a short period the verifications by both NUC and legal council will be
conducted and the Law programme will commence in earnest. The project is billed
to be completed in less than one year.
The university management is
extremely grateful the Founder/Chancellor, High Chief Dr Mrs Winifred Awosika
OON, members of BOT and Governing Council for their support.
