The Management of Chrisland University Abeokuta on Thursday, 4th
July 2019, commences two new building Projects within the premises of the
Campus.
The two new projects are an ultra modern classrooms and
offices block and the College of Basic Medical Sciences Building.
While handing the sites over to the contractors, the Vice-Chancellor
of the University, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola encouraged them to prove their mettle by delivering befitting structures in record time, adding
that they should not allow anything to distract them and justify the confidence
reposed in them by the founders of the University.
Engineer Dapo Kazeem of Alpha and Omega Bricks and Strategies
Limited, the Contractor handling the Contruction of College of Basic Medical
Sciences Building promised to meet up with the fifty two weeks duration of the
project adding that the stakeholders of the University should expect a
first-class structure. While talking about the uniqueness of the building,
Engineer Dapo said the structure contained a Mortuary which would not only aid
teaching and learning but will also serve Abeokuta community.
Similarly, Engineer Ayodele Ogunlana, the Managing Partner at
Baocam and Truss, the contractor handling the construction of ultra modern
classrooms and offices block pledged his company’s commitment to deliver a
sustainable and well built structure within the stipulated forty weeks
stipulated duration of the project.
While commenting on the uniqueness of the building, Engineer
Afolabi Omoniyi, the Director of Baocam and Truss pointed out that the
structure is multipurpose in nature being a fusion of Laboratories, Classrooms
and Offices.
