Chrisland University Canvasses Effective Partnerships in Health Sector for Quality Health Services Delivery


The Vice-Chancellor, Chrisland University, Prof. Mrs. Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS, on Friday, 14th January, 2022 has canva the need for health sector to embark on collaboration with relevant stakeholders for quality health services delivery and better patient outcomes 


She made this recommendation while delivering goodwill message at the Medical Women’s Association of Nigeria (MWAN) 2022 National Executive Meeting held at The TeleMedicine Hall, Federal Medical Center, Abeokuta. 


According to her, collaboration would build effective partnerships with the individuals and communities the health sectors serve to better address their health and social needs. 


She appreciated the Managing Director, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, Prof. Adewale Musa-Olomu for permitting Chrisland University to utilize the Medical Centre’s facilities for clinical postings. 


Also present at the event were the Representatives of the First Lady of Ogun State, Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, Commissioner of Health, Ogun State, Dr. Tomi Coker, Director, Ministry of Health, Dr. Festus Soyinka, Managing Director, Federal Medical Centre, Ebute-Meta, Lagos State, Dr. Adedamola Dada, who was also the Guest Speaker, MWAN National President, Dr. Adekemi Otolorin, MWAN State President, Dr. Olabisi Dedeke, MWAN members and others.


A plaque was represented to Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola, FAS for being a Guest of Honour.
