Chrisland University Announces Date for Physical Resumption

The Management of Chrisland University has disclosed that physical resumption of students for the continuation of the first semester, 2020/2021 session will commence on Sunday, 31 January, 2021 and Sunday, 7 February, 2021.

At the joint Management and Senate meeting held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, it was decided that students would resume physically based on the following dates and time line:

All final year students, all Accounting students, all 100 level students, and all JUPEB students are to resume physically on Sunday, 31st of January, 2021.

All 300 level students and all 200 level students are to resume physically on Sunday, 7th of February, 2021.

This decision is to reduce the numbers of students on Campus in order to contain the spread of the raging COVID19 pandemic.

All students will be subjected to COVID19 test at the school clinic at the cost of 5,000 naira, and students are mandated to wear face mask at all times while on campus.

Consistent washing of hands with soap and sanitizer using hand washing basins placed at strategic positions on campus is also mandatory.

Management also added that the process of learning would be a blend of both virtual and physical learning.

The management urged each student to acquire a Windows 10 laptop, and must return to campus with such laptop as no students will be allowed into campus without a laptop.

All students will be subjected to body and luggage search by Officers of the NDLEA and Campus Security before proceeding into the hostel.

Also, no students will be allowed into Campus without evidence of having paid the minimum fee required.

Distinguished Parents and General Public,
It has come to the attention of Chrisland University, that a suspected fraudster who goes by the name, Dr. Sylvester with the telephone numbers: 08147935431 and 07084178246, some other fraudulent individuals and impostors have been impersonating Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace BABALOLA, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University. Their intention is to extort money from unsuspecting individuals online, especially through the use of social media platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, text messages and telephone calls. Their fraudulent engagements are mostly on the sale of laptops, and employment contracts. Their acts are ignoble and vicious.
This is to inform the general public, particularly Nigerian tertiary institutions that, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University has nothing to do with any form of contracts or other claims being made online and offline by the criminals.
Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola is a distinguished Professor of Pharmacokinetics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, an award-winning professor, a laureate of the African Union, a lover of peace, and a devout Christian. She is the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, and her major focus is and has remained steering the wheel of excellence in the school to ensure world-class value system, intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research, community service, and outstanding training of a new generation of leaders. Hence, she cannot be involved in fraudulent claims as are being made by the fraudsters.

By this disclaimer, Chrisland University is making it explicitly clear that Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, its Vice-Chancellor, dissociates herself from all forms of fraudulent claims made with her name and office as the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University by any group of impostors online or offline.
The general public is hereby notified of this disclaimer and at the same time warned to be careful, as anyone who transacts with any of the impostors does so at his/her own risks.
