2nd Semester Exam Kicks Off On A Good Note As Staff, Students Commend Chrisland University Management

The 2nd Semester Examination in Chrisland University, Abeokuta took off on a good note today Monday July 18, 2022 with a cross-section of the University community, among them staff and students, describing the exercise as very impressive.

Many of those interviewed thumbed up for the Management for ensuring a conducive environment for peaceful conduct of the examination.

Dean, College of Arts, Management and Social Sciences(CAMASS), Prof Dayo Akinbobola who led other frontline officers of the University to monitor the exam thanked God for an orderly and hitch-free examination.

Said Prof Akinbobola: "It's a good start. I moved round this morning. It's so far, so good. It was a shocker for the students unlike in times past when Exams had to be postponed. But we adhered to the timetable this time around and all went well."

Dr Raphael Mordi, Dean of Students Affairs simply said: "All I will say is that the examination was a good start. It was generally peaceful and hitch-free"

For his part, Dr Solomon Okunade, Ag. Director, Chrisland University Statistical Centre, thumbed up for the students for behaving themselves in an orderly fashion and for the fact that the examination was free of any sort of malpractices so far.

Many of the students came out of the examination halls exuding great smiles. A 100-level student, Akorede Boluwatife said: "To me the exam was good. I tried my best. I think I wrote well and I expect nothing but success."

Michael Abakpa, another 100-level student said: "The exam went well. This is really a very nice institution. I commend the Management for every effort put in place for the examination."

Arowosegbe Iyanuoluwa, 100-level Physiotherapy student said "we must not overlook all that the authorities have done to make our stay on campus enjoyable for us.  The exam was not too tough. We are up to the task".

Jola Oluwanifemi, 100-level Nursing Science: "We had a great exam today. All of us behaved well. There was no cheating or any malpractice whatsoever. In any case, our lecturers were all eagle-eyed".
