TECHNOLOGISTS

REQUIREMENTS

Professor 

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, Master’s degree and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., with at least Twelve (12) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.     

Applicants must be able to show evidence of scholarship and a track record of outstanding research with a minimum of Thirty (30) Scholarly peer-reviewed publications in chosen fields of specialty and expertise.  

Also, outstanding research and scholarly publications and or patent invention and design, in recognized, and reputable peer-reviewed rated internationally journals/outlets 90% of such publications should have appeared in print, and there must be an identifiable contribution to knowledge in the field of specialization.  

Preference will be given to qualified candidates whose qualifications must be registered with the relevant Professional Body(ies).

To be appointable, the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate evidence of Academic Leadership, research ability to supervise Post Graduate students in the field, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, and skills for collaborative and multidisciplinary research. 

Reader 

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., with at least Nine (9) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.     

Applicants must be able to show evidence of scholarship and a track record of outstanding research with a minimum of Twenty-five (25) Scholarly Publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated journals/outlets.

Also, outstanding research and scholarly publications and or patent invention and design, in recognized, and reputable international journals, 80% of such publications should have appeared in print, and there must be an identifiable contribution to knowledge in the field of specialization. 

Preference will be given to qualified candidates whose qualifications must be registered with a Professional Body.

To be appointable, the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate evidence of Academic leadership, ability to supervise Post Graduate students in the field, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, and skills for collaborative and multidisciplinary research.   

Senior Lecturer

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., with at least Six (6) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.     

Candidates must show evidence of a minimum of Fifteen (15) Scholarly Publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated journals/outlets and an identifiable contribution to knowledge in field of specialization. The applicant must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership in teaching and research.    

To be appointable, the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate evidence of Academic leadership, ability to supervise Post Graduate students in the field, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, and skills for collaborative and multidisciplinary research.   

Lecturer I 

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., with at least Five (5) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.     

To be appointable, candidates must show evidence of a minimum of Ten (10) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated reputable journals/outlets and must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership. 

Lecturer II 

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D., with at least Three (3) years of continuous Teaching and Research at the University level.     

To be appointable, candidates must show evidence of a minimum of five (5) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed internationally rated reputable journals/outlets and must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership. 

Assistant Lecturer  

Interested Applicants must possess minimum of Second Class in Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (B.A/B.Sc.) and Master of Arts/Master of Science, (M.A/M.Sc.) from a recognized University. Teaching and Research will be an advantage. 

To be appointable, candidates must show evidence of One (1) scholarly publication and must be able to demonstrate potential for academic leadership. He/she must have evidence of registration for Ph.D. or almost concluding a Ph.D. Programme in a relevant field. 

Technologists

Interested applicants must possess good Bachelor’s degree in Medical laboratory Science with a minimum of Second-Class Lower Division, and must be a registered member of MLCN. 

NON-ACADEMIC

REGISTRY

(a). DEPUTY REGISTRAR (UNIVERSITY REGISTRY)

Interested applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, from a recognized University plus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.  The candidate who must be currently serving or must have served as a Principal Assistant Registrar, should have not less than 15 (fifteen) years cognate administrative experience, 8 (eight) of which must be in higher education sector preferably in a University.

In addition, the candidate:

Preference shall be given to qualified candidates with Masters Degree certificate holder with membership of recognized Professional Body/Bodies such as: NIM, CIA or CIPM.

(c). ASSISTANT REGISTRAR 

Qualification and Requirements

Interested applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, from a recognized University plus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate, with not less than (eight) 8 years of relevant administrative experience in the public or private sector but preferably in a University. 

A Master’s degree/Membership of a Professional organization is an added advantage.

(d). ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER I

Qualification and Requirements

Interested applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of SecondClass Lower Division, from a recognized University Plus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate, with at least four (4) years post qualification experience in the public or private sector but preferably in a University.

Master’s degree/Membership of a Professional organization is an added advantage.

C. PROGRAMMER CADRE

i. SENIOR SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER

Qualifications and Requirements

Interested applicants must possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division, from a recognized University plus National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate, with at least Six (6) years post qualification experience. 

Knowledge of one or more programming language(s) is essential.

ii. SYSTEM PROGRAMMER I

Qualifications and Requirements

Same as Senior System Programmer above, but with at least Three (3) years post qualification experience. 

iii. SYSTEM PROGRAMMER II

Qualifications and Requirements

Same as System Programmer I,   but with one year post qualification experience.

Salaries and Allowances 

Chrisland University Operates a Salary Structure and Condition of Service comparable to what obtains in the Nigerian University System.
