The 9th Annual Information Technology Development Programme Organized by Nigeria Computer Society Ogun State chapter and hosted by Chrisland University Abeokuta Campus had come and gone. It was a succesful one with twelve tertiary Institution in participation.

The 9th Annual Information Technology Development Programme Organized by Nigeria Computer Society Ogun State chapter and hosted by Chrisland University Abeokuta Campus had come and gone. It was a succesful one with twelve schools in participation. The contest was divided into three categories namely; Inovation Presentation on E-Agriculture, Information Technology Quiz and Software contest. The prices were shared among few of the twelve Tertiary Institutions in contention and Chrisland University was not found wanting. Chrisland University claimed the 1st price in the Information Technology quiz by answering the whole question correctly. This same sophisticated University also claimed the 3rd price in E-Agriculture inovation presentation.

It has come to the attention of Chrisland University, that a suspected fraudster who goes by the name, Dr. Sylvester with the telephone numbers: 08147935431 and 07084178246, some other fraudulent individuals and impostors have been impersonating Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace BABALOLA, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University. Their intention is to extort money from unsuspecting individuals online, especially through the use of social media platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, text messages and telephone calls. Their fraudulent engagements are mostly on the sale of laptops, and employment contracts. Their acts are ignoble and vicious.
This is to inform the general public, particularly Nigerian tertiary institutions that, Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola, the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University has nothing to do with any form of contracts or other claims being made online and offline by the criminals.
Professor (Mrs.) Chinedum Peace Babalola is a distinguished Professor of Pharmacokinetics/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, an award-winning professor, a laureate of the African Union, a lover of peace, and a devout Christian. She is the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, and her major focus is and has remained steering the wheel of excellence in the school to ensure world-class value system, intellectual freedom, ethical standards, research, community service, and outstanding training of a new generation of leaders. Hence, she cannot be involved in fraudulent claims as are being made by the fraudsters.

By this disclaimer, Chrisland University is making it explicitly clear that Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola, its Vice-Chancellor, dissociates herself from all forms of fraudulent claims made with her name and office as the Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University by any group of impostors online or offline.
The general public is hereby notified of this disclaimer and at the same time warned to be careful, as anyone who transacts with any of the impostors does so at his/her own risks.
